About Ladies of Charity Food Pantry
The food pantry is located within the Center at 510 S. 4th Street and is open the same hours as the Center—Monday and Friday, 9:00-11:45 a.m. and 1:00-3:45 p.m.
Food bags/boxes are available for all clients once per month.
An adult member of the household must provide a photo ID (e.g., driver's license) and proof of residence in order to obtain food from the food pantry.
In keeping with the one-visit-per-month rule, we must request that picking up food and shopping for other items take place during the same visit to the Center.
Typically found in each bag/box is peanut butter, tuna, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, crackers, soup, pasta, cheese, a variety of miscellaneous items, and an additional protein item. (Selections may vary)
Also, each household may choose 2 personal/household items per month--toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, bar soap, feminine hygiene products, or razors. Laundry detergent or dish-washing liquid are available every 3 months. (based on availability)
Donations
Donations of food (unopened packages, with unexpired dates) or fresh produce and donations of unopened health/hygiene items are gratefully accepted on Monday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
